Today we did a lot of shooting in order to complete my assignment for my natural light class! I didn't get any pictures that I want to use for class, but I did happen to get a few great unexpected shots!
The first one is of Lollia's excitement in opening her new package from Zulily which included a matching raincoat, umbrella and boots. While Marco and I were talking, I noticed her sitting on the floor with her new umbrella over her head. Luckily my camera was very close by!
The next picture is a sweet one of her cuddling on her Daddy's lap.
Finally, this might be my new favorite!
While Luca was napping, I combined a lighting exercise for my current class along with our Valentine's Day shoot with Lollia wearing her lovely new Valentine's Day dress. Its amazing what you can accomplish with a bag of chocolates! I love the use of light in these pics. Lollia looks beautiful of course! Hopefully we can finish the shoot on another day with some pictures of Lollia and Luca wearing his little holiday shirt.
I decided to put being stuck at home in the snow storm to good use. I wanted to capture some pictures of my daughter in the snow. For all you critics (and you know who you are), it was before the heavy snow and winds kicked in. Fortunately for once, I had a willing participant. She refused to stand still, and literally ran circles around me in the snow, but I am very happy with the images I captured. And we had fun together, which is the most important part. She is my little snow princess!
